Hi,
I have a primary alias and email address from where I collect mail using Outlook.com. Since yesterday (11/09/13) Outlook is no longer collecting this mail, I am unable to edit the settings to see what the problem is or change the settings. The login details
for the email have not changed, nor has anything else.
I need this mail to work as this address is my primary personal contact address.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

My account page lists my DOB as 9/2013. There is no provision to change it manually. We have no children. We never had children registered to our Microsoft account.
this is a repost as Microsoft support is TERRIBLE and only give robitic answers from people with fake names like "ralph"
so here we go for the second time. Please don't send me a link to the microsoft support page as I have been there and done it 10 times that is why i am here asking these questions. What microsoft sent me doesnt work as i have been blocked from trying to

I recently moved to the UK from Australia and was using my hotmail as usual and then all of a sudden it blocked me asking for me to answer my security questions or send an unlock code to an email. The problem is that I no longer have access to the alternative email and also I opened the account in 1999 and have no idea of the answer to the security question. I filled out the recovery form several times with all the info form my previous email which i could still see on my phone and it kept denying it then i did it again earlier after waiting a painful 48 hours after calling support. Getting on live chat several times. Then I get an email asking for me to just open a new account. I have had this account since 1999 and i have hundreds of accounts lined to this hotmail. I have currently 50 resumes with potential employers here in the UK that I am relying on this account for their response.I need help asap. email *** Email address is removed for privacy *** asap!

i logged into my outlook.com inbox yesterday and found that all of my emails from the past 15 years (yes, i've had this account that long! :) have disappeared completely in my inbox. i read through the other threads and none of the "conditions" applied to me. I actively use this on a regular basis, i log in online and on my phone, and when it switched from hotmail --> outlook, all was fine.
i use outlook.com on my android (and have for months, with the email app from android (i used the outlook app and it continually froze)) and all of a sudden yesterday i only have 2 weeks worth of emails in my inbox on my computer (which is the same view that i have on my phone). it seems that whatever emails i have on my phone, my outlook inbox has synced to by i cannot understand why. why would the emails delete from my online inbox? i have the server to have priority over my device and i didn't change anything. overnight, my inbox on my computer matches my phone and i have lost thousands of emails from the past 15 years. and i need them back, please!!!

How do I delete the column of ads on the right side of my outlook email page ? When I print the email the ads cover part of the email.
I have used daily a PAID account *** Email address is removed for privacy *** for 13 years. It vanished on 9/10/13. I tried each of the microsoft fixes suggested, none worked. On the chat line they said your account is a plus one (which means they see it, I'd say!!!!) so you need to talk
directly with a representative. called that number, it was another run around of menus, no human voice, and NO SOLUTION. PLease help. I think it's an identity theft of some sort. I must get that account back, it contains all sorts of critical parts of my personal

I have deleted files from my Skydrive 7gb account and emptied recycle bin but still I recover no storage in my Skydrive acct and it is now showing only 338mb available of my 7gb acct so now I have to stop using it and go elsewhere like to Google Drive or something unless I can recover the space in my account. I could find no answer on this in my forum search so how do I get back the space missing in my account.
Surely this space is not a one time use account because it would be worthless then, Using access on box Win 8 and Win 7 machines but actually deleting and emptying recycle bin online, not from the pc's.
I've changed my Primary alias from Hotmail to Outlook but the change isn't showing on my sign-in to Windows 8.
How do I sign in with the outlook.com alias and not the Hotmail one?
