exporting/importing contacts

Because of all the messing around and changes with bt am opening an outlook account. How do I export contacts from bt to outlook. Suggestions say to export to another account like facebook,twitter which I don't have. Any ideas?

hi.. recently i've started using windows 8 that came up with my new laptop..
i've signed using my outlook account.. to which i connected my google account..
in my laptop ... in metro app calender i'm getting all my schedules and memo's from my google calender..
but my outlook.com calender is fully empty.. can i know why.. .?
what should i do to sync both these.. 

and one more question...
i want to shift completely to outlook mail service and calender.. but i got an android phone.... can u pls suggest me a way to sync my contacts and calender from my android phone with windows 8 pc.. from there to outlook.com...

Hi,

Thanks for resolving the "inappropriate language or Word" issue with my domain.

But now I've registered my domain pgfnigeria.org on Windows Live Admin Center and I keep getting the message "It may take a few minutes to complete the changes to your service. Please check back later." after updating the DNS and MX Records on my Server. It's been almost more than 24 hour now and after hitting the refresh button several times, I still get the same message. Please what is going on with your system? How long would I be made to wait for this issue to be resolved?

Please help me resolve this issue asap because it is really frustrating having to use more than a week to setup a mail service on live.com. 

I also suggest Microsoft makes this process of this service faster to setup.

Cannot Link fro Samsung NX300 smart camera

I have a new camera and want to be able yo backup my photos to skydrive, i can log in to the account normally and i can attach various applications from Android devices to the account which all work and connect with out any issue.

When i try and attach the camera i get an error that stops the connection setup from being completed. i can see that the camera manages to authenticate and login successfully but after that it fails.

i have tried it with my account and my wife's account and are family account and all get the same issue that results in 
"Error message “There’s a Temporary problem” 

 I get an error on the screen after the following steps: 

1. Turn camera on 
2. Turn dial to Wi-Fi 
3. Select SNS &amp Cloud 
4. Select SkyDrive 
5. Click ok 
6. Connect to Wi-Fi 
7. Sign in to Microsoft account with user name and password 
8. Logs in and takes you to a page snsgw.samsungmobile.com 
Samsung DSC needs permission to:.... 
9. Click yes 
10. Error message “There’s a Temporary problem” 

I have reset the camera and I have reformatted the card and uploaded the latest body firmware on to the camera which has made no difference.

I cannot open Outlook in Office 2013.

I am able to access Outlook fine but my partner gets the following message:  Cannot start Microsoft.com.  Cannot open the Outlook window.  The set of folders cannot be opened.  The outlook data file C:\users\xxxxx\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Outlook\Outlook.pst was not cleanly closed by the last programme that used it.  It cannot be opened until repaired. 

 

Can anyone help?

 

 

Admin Center Domain cannot receive emails for phpmail in live mail

Hello, i added to my domain artoftime.se the live center email, everything looks like is working good:
if i send email to accounts from *** Email address is removed for privacy *** or *** Email address is removed for privacy *** to *** Email address is removed for privacy *** mail is delivered and all its ok.
But if i send mail *** Email address is removed for privacy *** from website www.artoftime.se using PHPMAIL or SENDMAIL *** Email address is removed for privacy *** dont receive email.

Website looks like is right configured if i configure to send to my outlook.com instead of *** Email address is removed for privacy *** (with same parameters) everythings works right.

To be more clear (sorry for my bad english):

Domain artoftime.se

- website (joomla 2.x) configured to send messages to *** Email address is removed for privacy *** , site return message sent but mailbox dont , no buonce message

- website (joomla 2.x) configured to send messages to *** Email address is removed for privacy *** , site return message sent and message arrive instantly.

mx for artoftime.se looks to works of, if i send to *** Email address is removed for privacy *** from other mail server (eg. gmail) message arrive.

   

changing microsoft accounts

I read an article the other day which talked about Outlook.com and custom domains.  Brilliant, I thought and I set up my custom domain and re-routed my random emails to the new custom email address.  At this point I was feeling pleased with myself.  Only then did I realise my folly!

 

When I log in to Windows8, it connects to my primary email address, so when I use the web interface of outlook.com it defaults to that and not my shiny new one.  So I changed the email address connected to my user profile on my laptop.

 

Sadly this means that SkyDrive is now trying to upload 40GB+ of stuff to my new SkyDrive account, making my subscription useless.  I can't change SkyDrive back to the old username, because I'm logged in to windows with the new one.

 

If I get rid of my old primary email, that will factory reset my Windows Phone. 

 

An integrated ecosystem is great, but there is something missing here!

 

Ideally, I'd kill my custom email address, then recreate it as an alias on my main Microsoft account and then change it to be my primary alias, but I'm not sure that's possible using the outlook.com custom domain tools.

 

Argh!

local folder deleted-ALl files are GONE!!

How is this possible that skydrive delets files from my OWN PC?? And no, the files are not in skydrive.com

Unifying my accounts

On the Help page of my Microsoft Account it tells me that I can "Unify my Accounts" and then doesn't' provide any information on what that means and how I can do it.

 

Anyone help with this?
