Last night something happened with my e-mail outlook account which I actively use. I'm not sure if it was an accident or a security breach. Around midnight I got several e-mails from Microsoft security asking me to verify my account and saying also if
I didn't asked for the confirmation to cancel it. So I did. Then it sent me some security codes saying if I didn't ask for them to change my password. So I did. When I changed the password, it opened the overview data page. It showed me some other information
entered in my account that wasn't mine.
I got scared that someone hacked my account. I still had access to my inbox because I didn't shut down the original window of my browser. But when I tried to enter to my inbox using another tab in my browser, I couldn't. It would send me on that page
with that information that weren't mine.
The weirdest thing was that in a taskbar was a notification “Microsoft Confidential” in red letters. Meanwhile Outlook popped out a message saying that outlook was updated and to refresh my browser. I still saw my inbox in one window and data info in
other browser window. Next I did is to delete all my e-mails thinking that if I shut down the window with my inbox I wouldn't be able to access again. I was trying to log in again in a different browser, but the new password that I set wasn't working and I
was thinking what the heck now. Then I tried to use my old password and it worked.
Everything is OK now. But the thing that got me thinking is that I had another e-mail account and my phone number in security section in case someone tried to hack my account to protect me and nothing came on my mobile saying that someone is trying to
take over my account.
Can you tell me what happened? Was that a security breach or technical problem from outlook.com? Did someone somehow taken my mail as a primary address? What can I do to prevent this?

I would like to remove .sg from my email address.

I was suddenly locked out of my account one day. The message I received was that the server had changed my password. The contact details on my profile were not updated by me when I left the last company I worked at. As I could not have a link sent to those contact details,I was locked out of my account.
Please can you help me. I have sent numerous requests to get my password sent to me.
I have completed various verification/reset forms .
I now get a mail to say that the information that I submitted was insufficient to verify my details and that I need to create a new account.
I cannot understand this as I received a mails a few days ago verifying my details. The link though had expired
I have numerous reference numbers
I have tried to even get this issue resolved by going to the "live chat", but with no success. I have 5 years worth of mails that I am potentially going to lose access to
I urgently require my e-mails as this is becoming critical.
Is there anyone else out there that can help me.

Hello, Microsoft I have a Hotmail account from long years ago and signed up with it on face and now I'm trying to log in with it but Microsoft telling me that the account doesn't exist , I tried to recover the password and another time the account doesn't
exist , so I tried to recover it from here : https://account.live.com/acsr but still not exist But Facebook told that they've send an email to it and showing me it that exist . so please Microsoft

I'm trying to add "consolidatedclaims.net" for e-mail hosting but get the message:
This domain name can't be used because it contains a protected word or inappropriate language. Please contact support if you feel this is not the case.
The domain belongs to an insurance adjuster http://www.consolidatedclaims.net who only uses it for e-mail but his basic mailing address is on the site.
Please unlock it so I can add it.

So the other day when I turned on my Xbox and go to sign in it says I have to sign in with the Windows Live ID liked to my gamertag. I cannot remember the password for the life of me and have since been desperately trying to remember but microsoft's automated
systems are just not helping me at all.
What do I do? Ideally I'd like to have an actual conversation with someone from microsoft to try and fix the problem, but I can't find a relevant email address anywhere.
This account is six years old. I never used it for anything. It is SPECIFICALLY so that I can play Xbox. I have since created other Microsoft Accounts but they're not linked to my Xbox in any way - and I can't play online without signing in with the password
I cannot remember.
I've filled out the online form time and time again, but can't remember the answer to the security question because it is six years old. I literally have no idea. I can't remember any previous passwords (again, SIX YEARS OLD) and even though I've given
card details which I know are right, it's not helping me at all.
