Woks OK when creating mail or in creating a document
Hi everypne,
Using latest WindowsLiveMail on a Win7_64bit system. I have numerous
eMail addresses installed, mainly IMAP, but also an @live.at eMail
address.
In this live eMail address i have numerous folders + subfolders;
as i understand, the @live addresses use a sync protocol of their own
that differs from IMAP (MS calls it DeltaSync).
This @live eMail address is all in all installed on 3 computers and
most of the time the syncing of the folders/subfolders works fine.
However, every month or so the following phenomenon happens in
WindowsLiveMail:
sending/receiving eMails works fine and *at first glance* the
subfolders of the @live address seem to be there, but they are all
muddled up:
some folder names are present but the SUBFOLDERS are gone (not showing
up).
Double-pressing F5 to resync everything does not change anything.
When using the webmailer to look into the @live address, all the
folders/subfolders are correctly there.
So my only workaround when this error happens:
1. remove the account in WLM
2. set database compression to 1, set "work offline", log out of
WindowsLive, close WLM to let the database compress properly, re-open
WLM.
3. Re-install the @live eMail account and wait until everything syncs;
the deltasync protocol does its work and all folders/subfolders
reappear.
However .......... not very convenient, does anyone know of a better
solution?

im tryng to use excel as a base for a mail merge... generally I work through Gmail bt Gmail cant cope with mail merge. I get a message saying no program associated.
so i've opened an Hotmail account - but how to I make sure the Merge Mail goes through Hotmail account and not gmail one?
Ik zie mijn email berichten, maar kan ze niet openen, als ik op de mail druk gebeurt er niets.
When i tried to connect to my Hotmail.com account, i received an message telling "Account doesn't exist". It was still working last Thursday.. and friday ... impossible to connect !
I then tried to made a new account but impossible to make an hotmail.com account because "account already exist ! ".
I have made an hotmail.fr account and then tried to make an alias with hotmail.com .... impossible because "account already exist !!!".
So i cannot log on because "account doesn't exist" . But I cannot recreate it bacause it already exists !!!!!
I have contacted the microsoft support .... they are even enable to simply tell me if my account still exist or not .....
What can i do?

been trying for 7 hours for a fix for my problem...I cannot receive or send any emails msn account in windows live. receive a message..unable to send or receive messages for the msn (cage_7) account...server error 0x800488FE... windows live mail error...I have been on here all day trying to find help so that I can receive my messages.... please help. ...I tried to reset my password I may not even be able to receive a reply from this..
