I am trying to set up Microsoft Outlook. The connections are all okay but the send test email message fails. I get:
Send test e-mail message: The specified server was found, but there was no response from the server. Please verify that the port and SSL information is correct. To access these setting close this dialog, then click More Settings and click on the Advanced
tab.
The port and SSL are correct so now what do I do?
I am trying to set up Microsoft Outlook because Windows Live Mail WILL NOT LET ME SEND EMAIL TO A GROUP.
When I set up a group contact and type an email I get a message that asks me to enter an email address into the To, Cc or Bcc line. However the contact group is in the To line, so why won't it recognize that there is a group of email addresses there?
Very, very frustrating.
So, if anyone knows how to set up either Microsoft Outlook, or fix Windows Live Mail so I can send to a group I would greatly appreciate the help.

I am running Windows 7 Pro. OEM when I attempt to open Windows Live Mail to set up a third party email account a wlmail.exe - "Bad Image" window pops up and says "C:\program Files (x86)\Windows Live\Mail\MAILRT2.dll is either not designed to run on Windows
or it contains an error. Try installing the program again using the original installation media or contact your system administrator or software vendor for support." How can I easily fix this?
When Windows Live email opened yesterday my emails came through though my Calendar & Contacts are not there (blank Calendar pages – have a very full calendar of events)) / (6 contacts listed – have about 345 with a lot of data). When it opened I got an
error message of Error # 0X80048849. After resigning in my emails downloaded though my calendar & contacts are the same as stated above. I have spent numerous hours trying to regain my calendar & contacts with no success. What have you done to Windows

I had to post this to Outlook because Windows Live was not in the list of choices If I am in the wrong place, please tell me how to get to Windows Live.
I have set up three group contact lists. When I go to Contacts and click on the group, all group addresses are there. However, when I click Edit Category, no names are chosen and listed at the bottom. As a result of this, when I try to send an email to the group, I get an error message telling me I must put an address in the To, CC or BCC. I once again selected all email addresses for the group and was able to successfully send the email but as time went by, the names disappeared from the group again. Help would be appreciated.
I would Please like help in getting back into my old Hotmail account. I went to access the old account and it was gone- so I created the new Outlook one like it said to do. The problem is I have some VERY special saved emails in that old Hotmail account
from my older sister who passed away. I have no other copies of them and they are the ONLY letters I have from her. She helped me create that account before she Passed away. PLEASE help me get back into that old account, or tell me how I can link the two together,
so I can move them to this new Outlook account. There must be a way to get back into this old account- PLEASE- Can you help me in ANYWAY!!!
I am not receiving emails that have been forwarded from other accounts. They are not in my 'junk' folder, either. I have checked my outlook settings and the multiple users that are trying to forward me messages are not blocked. There are no 'rules' set
that would block these messages from coming through. I have tried multiple browsers and clearing the cache, but the problem persists. Newly-created 'Test' messages sent from these other accounts to my account show up in my inbox as usual, but a 'forward' of
any message from these other accounts does not; the other accounts have no error/bounceback messages saying the email could not be forwarded - it appears to have forwarded normally on their end, but it never shows up in my account. We've been testing this
for 48 hours and nothing has changed.
How do I fix this problem?
