I cant send or receive emails on Windows live mail it comes up with error message - Unable to send or receive messages for the Hotmail.co

Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x8DE00002

I can access account through Hotmail but not on live mail - please help

I have a Surface Pro that I use as a secondary PC.

I recently changed my password on my main PC.  However, I can no longer access email from my Surface Pro.  Outlook 2013 keeps asking me for my username and password, but, will not accept them.  The dialog box keeps coming back up.  All the while I cannot send or receive email.

Is there a simple solution for this?  I have looked all thru support and it seems that this is not uncommon, but, the solutions seem to require an computer science degree to resolve.

It would be nice to input the new password and be on my way, however, that is not an option.  Is there something practical?

Absolutely love the device, but, if it does not work, it sorta loses a bit of coolness.....

I am able to sign into my live account but not able to retrieve my mail although it shows the amount of emails there

col130.live.mail.com then live.mail.com flick back and forth then I receive an error message saying we can not sign in right now

please help resolve if possible

I have deleted browser history many times and changed password even received a phone code

no luck with anything

thank you in advance

My live mail server give me a Server Error: 5102

Plus it gives me an error 0x8De000002

Original title: Hello

Can anyone tell me how to re-install my email accounts? ** Email addresses removed due to privacy. **

I would be very grateful/
When I click onto the icon for Windows Live Mail I get a box with a blue border and the title "Windows Live Mail." Below that is a stationary green bar which goes across the box. Below that are tabs "Tasks" and "Errors." How can I use my Windows Live Mail?
I ran a "Spybot" scan of my computer and had it fix all errors.  After that scan I could not access Windows Live Email.  I used "Error End" and now can run Windows Live Email again.  However, my folders are there but my emails are missing.  When I first opened Windows Live upon recovery I got the following message.

Windows Live Mail could not be started.  The application was unable to open the Windows Live Mail message store.  Windows Live Mail was unable to locate its message database.  If you've moved the database files to a new location, click OK to reset the database path to that location.  Otherwise, click Cancel to proceed, any existing messages found will be available under Orphaned Accounts. (0x00000000, 997)

I clicked OK and Windows Live opened minus any of my saved emails.  When I open Windows Live now it goes directly to the program but I am missing all of my old saved emails.  I desperately need these emails since there is a lot of business pending replies etc.

How can I find the Orphaned Accounts mentioned in the Windows error message?

Please HELP!

At one time I had Windows Live for email. That account was hacked and locked. I now have Outlook.com. I have a letter icon on my homepage for email, but it is still connected to Windows live mail. Is there any way this icon can open to Outlook.com?  IE10, Windows 7.
