I was using Live Mail on a Windows 7 computer to receive emails and then archiving them within Live Mail. I have just got a new computer running Windows * and Mail. How can I restore the emails I had archived on my old computer. I was doing general back ups of files but when I restored my files onto my computer I couldn't find any archived emails.

Hi, I am receiving emails but not able to send, getting the following error messages.
The connection to the server has failed.
Subject 'test'
Server: 'mail.bigpond.com'
Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x800CCC0E
Protocol: SMTP
Port: 25
Secure(SSL): No
Socket Error: 10013
I have uninstalled and reinstalled Mail to no avail. I am at a loss at what to do next. Is anyone able to help? Many thanks, Lee-Anne
If I have to look at all my contacts first. I will have find another e-mail program.

Right now it was quite a long time I haven't log in, and even longer I didn't check my old emails.
Useless to say that some emails were really important to me.
