Windows Live Mail – Word doc attachments not showing

I sent a email message from my laptop with a .docx attachment via Outlook 2007 and also sent a separate email message with a .pdf attachment to my recently purchased desktop computer with Windows Live Mail. The attachment icon does not show up for the Word attachment. But the icon appears for the pdf file.  I forwarded the message with the Word file as an attachment back to my laptop. Lo and behold, this forwarded message had the Word attachment in the attachment! What is going on? I tried several more times to send the message with the attachment and the icon never shows up! The header does not indicate an attachment, therefore there is no way I can open it...I think I need to dump this Windows Live and buy Outlook 2013. Or....???

 

The message is sent HTML format. The doc extension is associated with Word on my desktop. Conversation is turned off.

checking for mail on various accounts

In windows live mail, I have two accounts but I do not want to receive mail from one of them.  That is I want the frequency of checking mail on this account to be "never".  Any suggestions as to how to do this?  Note: unchecking the box that says "Include this account when receiving mail or synchronizing" does not do the trick.

 

 

Blocked emails!!

I have a block list for junk and emails I don't want to receive...

But for some reason I can't receive emails from Reed Jobs, even though I've searched my block list and it isn't on there.
I reset my password with Reed Jobs the other day and still haven't recieved the email from them in order to reset/change my password!!!???

Delivery Status Notification (Failure)

Trying to send a message to a friend from my hot mail to her gmail
But I keep getting an auto email saying the delivery to the following recipient
has failed. I even tried from my yahoo account and I got the same failure message.
Which is weird because she just emailed me 3 times from her same email 2 days
ago.

when I receive an e-mail with photos if I am really quick I can save the photos,

but any e-mail with photos is removed by windows live mail, what do I do to

prevent this.

Can’t Remember My Email Address

I created an alias email address for a project I am working on in school and now I can't remember my email address.  I believe I linked it to my current email address but can't find it.  Any help would be extremely appreciated.
