How do I delete previous versions of a document in Sky Drive? And Other Questions

I would like to be able to delete all previous versions of a document in Sky Drive. The reason: I sent my test document to my alternate email account at Yahoo email and unchecked the box that would allow me to edit the document in Sky Drive. Yet, when I opened the document in my Yahoo account, I was not only able to edit it in Sky Drive, but I was also able to click on and view each of the earlier versions of that document in Sky Drive. How can I ensure that the recipient won't be able to edit my document in Sky Drive? And how can I delete all previous versions of my document in Sky Drive?

Also, I thought that I understood at the Microsoft website that Sky Drive supports headers. Yet, when I did a copy and paste of a document from my Windows XP Word document, which has headers, the headers did not transfer into the Sky Drive document. That it, they could not be seen, and they did not show up when the document was printed out. Is there a way to get headers onto the Sky Drive document?

And, I read that Sky Drive will not support a document larger than 300 MB. How can I determine the size of one of my documents before I attempt to copy it into a Sky Drive web document?

hotmail sends emails whilst my computer is turned off. It sent me one this morning! If i could get someone to look at the email surely they should be able to tell where the email was generated

Three weeks ago it sent an email to my entire address book, this morning it sent me an email from me when my computer was turned off. I have tried to find a way to talk to microsoft, but it doesn't look like you can. Surely they can look at the outlook database and determine where the email was generated. I have not shared my password with anyone.

I have been trying to attach a 4MB Adobe pdf file to an Outlook email and keep getting the message "there is an error attaching this file"

 

The file opens ok on my computer.

 

I am using Windows 7 with the IE10 browser.

 

I have tried re-creating the file and also clearing the browsers cache, both had no effect. I also have latest version of Silverlight.

 

I also tried loading another pdf file which I created the previous day and that loaded OK.

 

Now the really puzzling thing is I also tried attaching it whilst accessing Outlook through the Chrome browser (on the same computer) and it worked fine! I could also then open the file whilst accessing Outlook through IE10, but it still wouldn't attach it to another email whilst using the IE10 browser.

 

So I could switch to the Chrome browser to solve the problem, but as a creature of habit prefer IE10.

 

What's causing the problem?

Da più di una settimana non riesco a scaricare ed inviare email dal dominio live.it utilizzando Windows Live Mail. Nassun problema da smartphone e web.
Utilizzando sempre Windows Live Mail l'altro mio account su dominio hotmail.com non da problemi e funziona perfettamente
riporto l'errore mostrato:

"Impossibile inviare o ricevere messaggi per l'account Wolverine66.

Errore del server: 5102
Server: 'https://mail.services.live.com/DeltaSync_v2.0.0/Sync.aspx'
ID errore di Windows Live Mail: 0x8DE00002"

Hi,

from a few hours, i'm not able to send email from outlook.com to a specific domain.
Using web interface, the recipient is highlighted in a red box with a description "the address may not be valid"
If i send the mail, after few seconds i receive the notification error:

I've already been in contact with the support of the recipient domain, and they said that it's an outlook.com issues since the ip addresses of the servers have poor reputation, and a delisting must be done.

what can i do ?

Password Reset Failure

I received a reply from Microsoft to my original question (below) but cannot reply to it, they sent me a link to reset my password which puts me straight back into the same circle of issues

 

"A few days back my 13 year old son had problems logging into his xbox live account on his xbox 360. We have tried logging onto his account *** Email address is removed for privacy *** using a PC and eventually asked for a password reset. We received the link but it results in a temporary service error. We have tried this on a different PC and cleared the cache but it's still not working after several attemps. We also filled in online recovery request form and this sent a link which again did not work. The password reset will work with another email address"

I now have two Microsoft accounts and want to merge them for Outlook.

I originally had a hotmail address which was being used to login to my account. And I had all of my work, uni and Gmail emails imported into this account.

I now use my Gmail address for signing up to everything and when I got a new Windows 8 laptop I used this Gmail address to sign up for a Microsoft account. Now, when I login to Outlook using the Gmail address it has none of my previous mail, nor does it receive any mail and I can't add the hotmail address as an alias, it won't let me.

In my original hotmail account I can't add the Gmail as an alias because  that email address is already taken (by me).

How do I merge the two, I basically just want to login to Outlook using my new Microsoft account, (under the Gmail address), and import all emails into this the usual way (and never have to login using my hotmail)

Not able to send email to Outlook.com alias

Hi All.

Created a Outlook.com alias.

 

It has been over 4 hours and any attempt to send an email to this alias comes back with an error that the mailbox does not exist.

 

I've tried sending from this alias, this works. If I reply to the email this also works and email goes to the alias.

 

If I send from my outlook.com primary address to the alias, this works.

If I send from Outlook 2013, connected to outlook.com to the alias, this then returns the error mailbox not found "smtp;550 Requested action not taken: mailbox unavailable"

 

 

I'm at a loss to what else to try

I wish to swap my primary address with my alias address, how do I do that?
