When I sign into to Hotmail/outlook, a message comes up saying that my account doesn't exist. I know they delete your account if you don't sign in within 270 days but I signed in a few weeks ago so I don't know what has caused this and I'm unhappy.
first i could not sign in to my hotmail account, now i can sign in, but the emails, contacts and everything which i had, i lost, how can i recover, my sent , received emails, folders, and contacts
My email account was hacked and the password changed. i can't get access to it now. What can I do?
I have custom domain with root account, which had 16+ char password. Whatever Microsoft did on the 21st of September to limit passwords to 16 chars - stuffed up my root account completely. I can not access it even if I type less char as per hint coming
up on outlook.com.
Basically, main admin account looking after the custom domains eg. domains.live.com and email is completely inaccessible. I tried resetting the password, but can't remember secret answer as in how it had to be typed exactly. Thanks god I have access to
non-main email accounts setup as they have different passwords setup to the main admin one - so not much interruption to my small business, but I can not manage account anymore.
This morning, I discovered multiple emails sent from my outlook.com account. Looking through the email headers, it was sent via a MS IP. My 1 computer that has email on it was shut off at the time and could verify that source wasn't my computer. Has
anyone else had issues with this today? I changed my password right away. This is very worrisome.
This forum seems weird. I can't sort by date. I can't ask for my own posts. Am I missing something?
I backed up my computer to external drive. How do I find email and contacts on the back up? I would like to install them on a new computer.

Hi,
I am having problems with my skydrive. When I opened my computer yesterday and went to the skydrive folder on my computer, I noticed that the green check mark beside the document was not present, indicating that my documents were not linked to the cloud.
Rather, it seems that they are just files stored on my computer but in the 'sky drive folder'. So I uninstalled and reinstalled skydrive to fix the issue.
When I opened my computer again today, the same issue appeared. I really do not have time to redownload skydrive everyday to ensure my documents are uploaded to the cloud. So rather than just fixing the issue, can you please give me insight into why this
is happening and nip the issue in the bud rather than just reinstalling skydrive every time the problem arises?
The people are microsoft were not able to help me on the phone (after being transferred to three different people). So please help me out.

Overview:
My school's Alumni Association has recently migrated the Alumni E-mail from Live@edu to Office365
Observations:
- SkyDrive is no longer supported, so to access it, I must go to https://skydrive.live.com/, but from SkyDrive, I cannot go to outlook.com from the dropdown. I understand that now I have a personal account (skydrive) and an office365 account (email, calendar, etc)
- In order to access email, I AM ABLE to log on through outlook.com/alumni.lsu.edu, and sync email and calendar with my phone and laptop
Problems:
- I now have two (duplicate) @edu addresses associated with Windows 8. Personal @edu (used to setup Windows 8) and Office365. In order to receive email, I had to add the office365 @edu email address to windows 8 as an exchange account. This wouldn't normally be a problem but now I have TWO redundant @edu (personal and office365).
- The problem is that both calendars sync with the corresponding account, but I only can get email through the office365 account. Do I need to have both accounts sync'd with Windows 8 in order to use SkyDrive AND Email from the same @edu address? It seems I can disable notifications from the personal account, and use the office365 account with Windows 8 for email and calendar.
- Is my only option to use my personal account for skydrive, and my office365 account for email and calendar?
- My personal account shows Facebook birthday calendars, etc, where as I do not see this option with the office365 account? How do I use only one account for email and calendar?
