I am in the middle of pointing my MX records over to outlook.com for use with my custom domain. I submitted the MX record change at about 9am this morning. Now, at a little after 3pm, I am able to send and receive mail at Outlook.com using my original email address... however, I am still unable to "Prove Domain Ownership" - which means I can't finish the email setup, etc. Is this typical? Is there just more waiting that has to happen before I can prove ownership? I have submitted both an MX record and a TXT record. Not sure what other steps can be taken at this point.

Can anyone help?

Thanks.
I want to flip a digital photo so the image is reversed.  How can you do that?
I was already using Outlook and went in to it today. It says I am upgraded, and everything is gone, folders, emails.  How do I get it all back?
I need to delete the imported Comcast.net emails. Somehow they imported into Outlook.com more than once and now I have 100k emails which brought my storage to the max and no one could email me. I deleted the Comcast.net account from Outlook.com but now I can't seem to be able to delete all the messages. I have tried to delete the folder and separately the messages in the folder and neither has worked. I also now moved the whole folder into the deleted folder but now it's just sitting there. How can I get rid of all the imported emails??
Many times when I open my inbox, I find messages that have been sent hours before and are just now in my box!  I am constantly checking my emails, so not sure how I could have missed them....what would cause this delay, since my box gets checked often?  Some important issues have gone undetected because of these delays!

Also, the number that occasionally appears in the (  ) of the Outlook toolbar box is seldom correct...most often there is NO number recorded there and there are new messages when I open my inbox.  But sometimes there will be a (1) and there are up to 5 new messages in my box!  It's not a big deal except that when in a hurry and there is no number in the (  ) I assume I don't need to open my email and look.....I thought the notification number is supposed to be a convenience of time saved....not!

Thanks for your listening ear - I've posted before and have been very satisfied with your help - I look forward to your answers:)

I have repeatedly attempted to log in to my email: *** Email address is removed for privacy *** over the past few weeks. I have repeatedly tried to do the security question but it always says that my answer is wrong; and I cannot do the questionnaire about my email since the email is for offers from stores and companies, so I don't tend to send emails to people, just receive special offers and such. Also, I cant be emailed a reset password because I didn't use a different email when I signed up, so it only gives me the option to send the email to the account I'm locked out of.  It wasn't until a few days ago that I really tried to get back into the email account because I have to reset my twitter password, but its linked to this email, and since I cant get it, I cant access my twitter. Is there anyway I can call someone to get this figured out as soon as possible. I need to recover my account or at least retrieve specific emails (for my twitter). Because I set up the email about 7 or 8 years ago, I partially remember the information I put in and the answers when I signed up, but I would need a person on the phone if I were to validate that its my account.

I am using outlook that used to be hotmail. I want to know if there is a way when I click on a contact to see if they are attached to a group
Hi

My wife has had a hotmail.com account for as long as she can remember and suddenly it has been deleted. I know this because I now get a failure notice when I try sending her an email. This email address was her first ever one and is linked to absolutely everything. She really needs it back.

I am not sure whether this is something to do with the migration to outlook.com or the fact that I made some changes to an Xbox live account that was registered with her email address.

Long story short, my Xbox live account was using her email address as I couldn't remember my password when I set it up years ago. I recently changed it so that my email was registered as she was sick of getting emails related to FIFA etc, and in the process removed her email address off of it.

Did that somehow delete her email address?

Would really appreciate help as she is 8 months pregnant and waiting for urgent info from midwife and hospital etc

I can't register my domain www.rattlejackofficial.com to make a mail because it says inappropriate language or protected word.
i do not having a settings icon on the top left of my outlook page. Where is it?
