Please let me know what can be done to solve this problem.
Hello all I am not able to get the mail in my inbox and even when I send a e-mail i am not able to see the same mail in my sent item but when I delete some of my mails then its will work properly for some time and again the same problem will start.
I'm trying to add an alias to an existing Microsoft account but get this message.
The email address used to be the primary of a duplicate Microsoft account but I went in and closed that account so that I can combine the two accounts (as per instructions I found on Microsoft site).
Now I cannot log into old (closed) account but trying to add that email address to the retained account produces the message "This email address is already taken. Please try another one."
Since 8am BST (London) I have not being receiving emails. However, 1 or 2 have arrived in the last 10 mins. Will others catch up? I now have no idea whether things are getting through or not.

Recently some emails that I have been sent have not been showing up in outlook.com. I have a MobileMe / iCloud address that I use for my Microsoft account and emails sent to this address have been showing up fine in my outlook.com inbox, but in the last
couple of weeks a handful of emails have been missing. I have checked at iCloud.com and they have arrived there, they just haven't made it into outlook.com for some reason.
Any help would be much appreciated.

I set up outlook wrong by choosing exchange server instead of IMAP.
Now I can't delete that account and out look launches with an eternal "loading profile" message before giving me an error message.
Then I got to control panel Email and try to delete it this way.
1.Tried to delete name - I get "you can't delete it until you add a new data file !?!?!
2. Then I get "you can't delete data file until you set default to other data file.
3. Then i set other data file to default and try to delete data file. THen I get "you need to delete name in E-mail tab".
4. Then i try to delete name on email tab and it says "You cannot delete this Outlook data file. Configuration information in the file is being copied to your new default data file".
This has been this way for over 20 minutes!
I can't set other data file back to default either! It says action cannot be completed the connection to microsoft exchange is unavailable.
Where does this end?
I just want to start over.
I tried uninstall and install but it left the bad account name in there.

My Hotmail (both on Outlook.com and my iPhone) received no new emails between about 4am and 11am UK time this morning. It has let me send them in that time. Since 11am I have received emails, but none of the ones sent to me between 4 and 11 have arrived.
I know emails were sent in that time and I was expecting an extremely important email in that time also, so am keen to recover them.
What is going on?

I know that I have emails waiting for me from friends that say they have emailed me and I have also sent emails from other email accounts I have but they have not come through to my Hotmail... can anyone help?
