Question about Outlook Express

I've set my Outlook.com account to use an alternate email address for replies, but when I send email using Outlook 2013, my Outlook.com address appears as the destination for the reply.  This is not the case when email is sent using the Outlook.com web interface--the 'reply to' address is used.  Surely, Outlook 2013 should be able to use the preferences chosen in Outlook.com.  I've set up Outlook 2013 using the EAS protocol, but haven't found a way to chose a 'reply to' address, unlike with IMAP and POP3.  That seems to me to be an enormous oversight.  However, if Outlook 2013 uses the preferences of Outlook.com, as it should, then that shouldn't be necessary. 

In my case, I am using an email forwarding address that isn't a full-fledged email account, so I cannot use this address as an alias.  If I were able to do so, then I could also select it as a return address per message.  It seems to me that many people would like to use an email forwarding address, but apparently cannot do so using Outlook with EAS or Outlook.com.  Am I missing something?

I have developed two problems in my outlook. One is new, my emails stay in the inbox with a line through them after I delete them and must be manually purged. My settings are correctly set to send deleted items to trash. The second problem is with the calendar. When inputting a new appointment from the "month" view of the calendar, I can only scroll and choose the morning hours even though my setting is from 6am to 8pm. The first problem is new, the second problem has been about a year

what is this? any info would be appreciated. It was listed on history in google chrome.  Does this have to do with Skype or is it different?
