SkyDrive Stuck on Signing In

I seem to have become bitten by this dreaded issue, sadly.  When trying to sign on to SkyDrive, the screen is stuck on "Signing in..."

 

I have done the following so far:

1. Ensured that my DNS settings are 208.67.222.222 and 220.220.

2. Uninstalled/reinstalled SkyDrive.

3. Verified my Trusted Root Certificates are correct and valid.

4. I have collected the .CAB file.

5. Ensured that my IE settings are Medium-High.

5. Deleted my whole SkyDrive folder and started over by reinstalling the latest version.  (I also deleted %localappdata%\microsoft\skydrive\settings\)

 

 

I'm on Windows 8 and would really like to get this working.  Thanks in advance!

Hi--

    My company offered Office Pro Plus 2013 at a huge discount, so I bought the offer, found out I couldn't install it on Vista, and upgraded to Windows 8. Now my account on Windows 8 runs through my Outlook address, as do my Office programs. For example, Word saves to my Outlook account's Skydrive. 

    The hitch is I want to use Skydrive Pro, and as far as Microsoft is concerned, my Office purchase is linked to my work email address. I tried to add my Outlook address as an alias, and was told that already existed. 

    Any suggestions? I just want everything on the same account so it can sync (and so I can work). I mean, I'm having a hard enough time even figuring out if Office Pro Plus includes access to Skydrive Pro, and this isn't helping. Plus every time I try to add a THIRD email address, this one at Gmail, the verification email always returns this message: "There's a temporary problem with the service. Please try again. If you continue to get this message, try again later."

A folder has mysteriously vanished from my Outlook.

 How can I get it back?  I tried to restore my computer, but that didn't help.  Help!!

All Office files corrupted – showing 0 bytes – Please help

Hi,

The majority of my office files show 0 bytes and I get an error message when I try to open them in either office web app or my desktop. I first notice this issue in my desktop few days ago, but files showed properly in skydrive web. Today I am at the point where all files show 0 bytes in skydrive web.

 

One interesting aspect is that most if not all files are shown in skydrive web recycle bin and show the proper file size. I tried to "restore" few files, but when I go to the restored location the file size is still 0 bytes (and can't be opened) and are noe gone for ever from the reclycle bin.

 

Please help - this are important files representing years worth of work related items.

I have lost all my contacts in Outlook.com. I have read some other posts on this issue but cannot seem to find what people are referring to the Private Message Area. I know that I have not deleted these myself because my only action recently on Outlook was to check my Facebook posts. Any help would be most welcome.

My xbox live profile just won't download I have cleared the cache and reset my password but still won't work. I really want to play on my profile plz help.

Have received the following error message when I try to log into outlook/hotmail. It appears to have started this evening, I have tried multiple browsers, cleared cache and also tried mobile devices and different computers.

Please could you investigate?

Tech support problem

I had an issue which I posted on the forums earlier:

"So I use my email address everyday. I logged into my account and all of my contacts and emails have been deleted. I am unable to restore any of them. My emails were extremely important and I know that they are fully wiped off the system after 5 days.
It may help to mention that I was logged into my other account beforehand and then shut that address down. After re-logging into my main account, all that was there was the welcome email from microsoft. I have chatted to 3 tech support people and none have helped. Please help."

My account was NOT inactive. NOTHING was done to my account except for me logging back in after being logged out for something around 10 minutes.

Anyway- my issue was escalated to senior support (thankfully) and my thread was closed before I could get a good reply (not very thankfully) and they provided me with a link so that I could view and write in the private messages between. This link was fine in the morning. However, it now takes me back to my old forum status and not to the messages.
I need to reach those messages for the sake of my account.

I might add, I have tried on every internet browser I have (Chrome, firefox and IE) but to no avail.

I have 4 days left until all my emails are permanently wiped from microsoft's systems, so please help me!

Edit Note~ I have been able to get my contacts back. My emails and their respective folders however, are still missing.
