Hi,

I'm helping my neighbors out with their new printer, an HP OfficeJet 5230.

The printer is a network printer, and they can print on it from other devices (even phones) aswell as on the computer.

However, printing is not possible on the built-in Photos app.

At first, the app says that it tries to find their old printer, even after completely deleting all drivers from the computer, and the new printer is selected and set as default printer.

The error I get afterwards is: Your printer has experienced an unexpected configuration problem 0x800700c1

I've tried to do an sfc /scannow and no issues were spotted.

I've also uninstalled Photos with PowerShell and installed it again after a reboot.

Repair/reset of the Photos app did not work either.

Unfortunately I keep getting the same results, and I can't find any other thread about this issue.

Computer: Windows 10 Home version 1809

Printer: HP OfficeJet 5230

Does anybody have any advice on what to do next?
