I am running a Packard Bell PC with Windows 7 64bit.

I have been using the version of Movie Maker that came with it not problems and decided i would upgrade to latest version (Big Mistake!)

Since then everytime i import a video i get an error saying Movie Maker has stopped working and it closes down.

I have tried everything i can find on the web including updating video card driver, i have done a system check and it was fine, i have the latest version of .net 4.5. i have done a clean uninstall and reinstalled.

I thought of restoring it back but wierdly i only have restore points from today and nothing before that!

So i am tearing my hair out and reinstalling windows isnt an option as i have too much stuff on my PC to reinstall etc

Help Please!
