Up to 24th December everything worked well. Since then I cannot send or receive any emails through my server (BT) for my primary email address. WLM still works with other addresses including another POP account. I have checked the settings  and all appears OK (995 and 425). I have reset the password to be sure all was well there. I can access my emails if I log onto the BT web site. BT deny any responsibility and blame Microsoft!

The messages below appear after I try to send and receive emails

The connection to the server has failed.

Subject 'test'
Server: 'mail.btinternet.com'
Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x800CCC0E
Protocol: SMTP
Port: 425
Secure(SSL): No
Socket Error: 10061

Unable to send or receive messages for the Btinternet (meveritt50) account. Your server has unexpectedly terminated the connection. Possible causes for this include server problems, network problems, or a long period of inactivity.

Server: 'mail.btinternet.com'
Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x800CCC0F
Protocol: POP3
Port: 995
Secure(SSL): Yes

The Error Code in the receive section keeps changing. The last two digits have been "19", "90", "0E" and "92"

Any help would be very welcome
