I know that Windows Live Mail is no longer supported, but I've used it for years and like it very much. I can also say that it has never given me any kind of trouble. For those reasons, I'd like to continue using it, if possible. However...

...I recently moved, which meant having to get a new Internet Service Provider and email address. My new ISP is Spectrum, and now I'm having trouble sending Charter emails using Windows Live Mail. I receive emails just fine - it's sending that's the problem.

I have set up my Charter email account on Live Mail using the settings I was given by Spectrum:

Incoming Mail: IMAP, mobile.charter.net, Port 993

Outgoing Mail: SMTP, mobile.charter.net, Port 587

This Server Requires a Secure Connection (SSL) is checked for both incoming and outgoing.

I have spoken with Spectrum tech support. They tell me that all my settings are correct, and so the problem must be with Windows Live Mail / Microsoft.

So, does anyone perhaps have a solution to my problem?
