Has anyone experienced this? Is there a fix?

A few days ago I upgraded to the latest version of Microsoft Office 2011 and I noticed that in Outlook, the preferences menu is corrupt, the size of the menu is smaller and has been cropped. Even when I click on tools>accounts, the menu that opens is blank
white box.
