Do you know if Microsoft is preparing a new version of Windows Photo Gallery?  The last is, I believe, from 2012.

It is fastest and most efficient for quick edits (straighten, crop, lighten, darken, etc) that I have found, but the main disadvantage is that it reduces the size of the file by a lot.  It needs an option to save as as large a file as you started with.

Is a new version in the works?  Thank you!
