I have been using MS paint for a long time and just now I find that when I open the paint program the picture size on the bottom middle of the screen is showing up as pixel content  (vertical and horizontal) instead of size in KB. 

It is important to me to be able to see the actual size in Kb's  instead of pixels when I have to resize a picture and I can't figure out how to change that display function back to the way it was. 

I am using Windows 7 ultimate and have very limitedcomputer knowledge.

Any help offered would be greatly appreciated.
