import pics from phone used to work wonderfully well

now, the past two times … I do not know where they go … when I attempt again, computer says , no photos can be found …. so , it seems they import, but I cannot ever find them … up to March, all fine, but recently, I cannot find any traces … including the recycle bin … please help .. thank you
