I lost the Categories Contacts recently. Contact list as a whole is there but no Categories any longer, why???

After a recent Windows Update I noticed that my Contact List on Live Mail disappeared.  The actual contacts were there if I put a name in the TO:  space, but none of the Categories were visible or on the full contact list.
