How do I go straight to "edit" (NOT via organise ! ) in Windows Photo Gallery ?

Ever since I`ve started using Windows Photo Gallery on my Windows 7 machine I`ve never been able to go straight to "edit" ! Whenever I`m on a picture and want to edit it if I click on the "Edit, organise or share" button it never goes straight to edit. I`ve got to fart about clicking through a separate folder, then find the picture I want to edit in that folder, then click on that and eventually (hopefully) get to where I wanted to be in the first place. The folder seemed to contain all the pictures I`ve ever edited in Window Photo Gallery !

What am I doing wrong ?
