Hello,

I'm running Windows 7 Pro 64 bit.  I tried to install Windows Essentials 2012, and received the following error message:

'One of the installation files appears to be corrupted.  Error 0x80070002.  Source:  crt110-i386.'

In reviewing similar cases on this message board I found several 'fixes,' none of which have worked.  Here's what I've done so far:

-Deleted/uninstalled local Windows Live content (there was just an empty folder)

-Ran all relevant Windows Updates

-Ran a Windows Update Hotfix

-Ran a system check for corrupted system files - none were found

I continue to get the same error message when attempting to install.  I very much want to have Windows Movie Maker on this computer, so I look forward to reading replies and suggestions.

Dave
