I have previously saved important emails onto my desktop however since updating office, outlook or any email viewing is not available as an option for me to view these emails. There is no option for me to open with outlook or any webmail viewer wherever i look. I am unable to download outlook as an app because it is already on the computer and working fine in itself.

I still have outlook on the computer and can open this and open emails from within there. It is like outlook doesn't exist outside of outlook.
