I recently upgraded from Win 7 to Win 10. Prior to the upgrade (and even after the upgrade) I had/have both Windows Live Mail and Outlook on my computer and I could use either of them to check my live.com email account.  Now, after the Windows upgrade, neither Windows Live Mail or Outlook can successfully check my mail. When it sends/receives, I get the following error message:

Unable to send or receive messages for the Live (cohugore) account.

Server Error: 3204
Server: 'https://mail.services.live.com/DeltaSync_v2.0.0/Sync.aspx'
Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x8DE20003

I have searched and searched and can't seem to find a remedy for that error.   I have tried to change POP and SMTP settings and that doesn't work.   I have completely uninstalled both Windows Live Mail and Outlook and then reinstalled my mail account[s] and that doesn't work.  (One would think that since everything I am using (mail program, email account, O.S.) is all Microsoft, the settings would be made automatically when I add a new account.   However, that doesn't happen when the account is added as a new account, or if I try to update send/receive settings.

My wife also has a msn.com account and we get the same failure results when we try to send/receive on her account.

However, our son's live.com account (on the same computer) sends/receives just fine.

I might add that when I open Outlook, go to Account Settings, then attempt to "repair" or "change" settings for the account[s] which will not send or receive, I also get an error that says that 'A Network Connection cannot be established.'    However, my internet/network connection is fine for everything else.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you.
