Want to go to Msn.ca on signout

I have just recently started using SkyDrive and have some questions since I am having some problems seeing my files, etc.

1st - Do I need the same version of Windows on my Laptop. PC and Kindle Fire?

2nd - Do the usernames and passwords need to be the same on each of them?

3rd - Do I need the same version of Word on each of them?

I am in the same situation as everyone else.  I have not received any emails since Oct. 31, what is the fix?
My outlook.com account is stuck "processing" when I select Send/Receive in my Office Outlook (using 2010 with Connector).

I am using outlook.com as an archive space and have received a few e-mails from Member Services the past months that my account is growing too fast - not sure if this my be tied to the problem.

Thanks,
Mark
I have tried using my Outlook.com but no new messages are showing in my inbox and I get an unable to complete request response when trying to send messages though I have confirmed that the messages were received, nothing shows in my sent folder and I cannot save a message to draft.  I primarily use Opera, but I get the same result with Outlook and the connector as well as in IE10, Firefox and Chrome.  I also get the same result in different browsers on three different computers.  As a result I will have to switch to another email service if this cannot be fixed ASAP, I have had this same Hotmail account for over 13 years and would hate to go through the pain of switching to another service.  Can anyone help me with this?
For my email account on Outlook.com, is there a maximum number of categories? folders? filters?
I stopped receiving mail on Thursday, October 31, 2013. Nothing in the inbox and 2 pieces of junk mail. I can sign in but no mail. I am at a loss. Our whole family is on our domain email which has been routed through Hotmail since 2005. No issues during the switch to Outlook.com, but this issue is creating havoc with our family.

Hopefully the microsoft monitors can provide some help. If not I am going to have to find another provider.

Hello. This is a well documented problem with no easily found documented solution.

To MS -- Please spare me the log sending and unnecessary tweaking of default options etc. Please don't ask about icon statuses or the Metro app upper right hand corner. You know this is a problem. MS knows that this is a problem but has yet to either publicly document a workaround or issue an update to fix. Please also do not express sorrow for my problem or eagerness to fix it.

Windows 8.1 Clean Install
Problem=Files created or moved locally take forever to Sync to cloud.

What is the workaround or planned update release date?

Thanks,
Mike

About a year ago, I set up the desktop skydrive app to sync my photos directory to the cloud.  Since I had multiple drive partitions, and I couldn't fit a full copy in c:\users\{account}\skydrive, I set up a symbolic link to my d:\pictures directory.  This worked fine under both Windows 7 and 8-on other PCs I just said not to sync this folder.

Once I upgraded to 8.1 though, I started getting multiple copies of all of the files in this folder, to the point where it filled up my hard drive:

This is a sample of five copies of the same picture.  I'd like to try to clean all of this up, since it's not obvious anymore which files are online copies, and which are offline.  So far, I've tried removing the symlinked directories from my skydrive, in the hope that would remove the online files from the local file system, but that doesn't appear to have worked.  What I'd like to do is:

-Remove all the online copies of files from d:\pictures, so only my local copies remain

-Recover all the mangled filenames that skydrive has created

-Set things up the way they worked before-I'd like to use my skydrive space to store the photos stored in d:\pictures without moving the entire thing to the C drive.

Is there a way to do this?

Hi,

Could you please enable reset password option to my account?
