I have downloaded Windows Movie Maker on my home PC and at my workplace PC.  I use Windows 7 at home and Windows 7 Professional at work.

At both locations I have uploaded pictures, music, and have also been creating captions (text) that are scrolling up the chosen picture(s).  I did this for 4 songs and the lyrics were pretty much in syn with the music.

However, all of a sudden the lyrics (text/captions) are scrolling up much faster. Too fast for what I want.  It's very hard to quickly read them.

I have read lots of information and watched several YouTube tutorials on how to speed up or slow down.

Everything I have read and heard says basically the same thing: To slow down or speed up the lyrics that are scrolling up the screen, go to "Edit" and then to "Snippets."  And then change the number in Snippets.  Sounds easy enough.

The problem I am having is that I can't access Snippets.    It's appears lighter, or slightly faded, compared to other things such as "Duration."  I can utilize Duration, but as I have mentioned, can't utilize Snippets.

This is true both on my home and work computers.  And I had downloaded Windows Movie Maker somewhat recently, 3/6/15.  I even uninstalled it at work yesterday, and then re-installed it, hoping that that would fix my problem.  Unfortunately, it didn't.

So, summing everything up, I am trying to learn how to slow down or speed up the lyrics (which I added by choosing "Caption") for the music I uploaded so that the lyrics are in syn with the music.  From what I have read and watched, I am assuming what I need to be able to do go to Snippets.  But that is just an assumption.  Maybe there is something else I should be doing.

Do you have any solution(s)?  I would appreciate any help!!!  Thanks!
