Can anybody tell me WHY I get all these strange markings ( marked in RED) for hyphens, quotation marks, etc., on SOME parts of an e-mail I’m trying to print out, but NOT (marked in BLUE) in others ?
These weird a^C~ ‘s make the letter basically un-readable ! HOW do I get RID of the RED marked a^C~ ‘s ?

Your “solution” is the nearest that I’ve seen to my problem.
Your “cut & paste” looks almost exactly like my wrongly printed ones.
However, your solution has not worked on my PC.
(I have Windows 8.1 + Windows Live Mail…)
Have you discovered any further techniques…to solve the problem.
