Dear Sir,
I am trying to sync (IMAP) my Live.com mails to my email client Windows Live Mail. I have several email accounts in live.com and have no issue at all to sync all of them, but 1 account (the email account I used right now to login and post this question to Microsoft Community).
When I sync this troubled email account, the connection from the Live.com server to Windows Live Mail is painstakingly very slow (several minutes for downloading 1 email without the attachment, while 1 email with attachment will need about 15-20 minutes).
And after around one hundred email, it shows this on error tab:
Unable to send or receive messages for the {xxx} account.
Server Error: 0x801941F7
Server: 'https://m.hotmail.com/Microsoft-Server-ActiveSync'
Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x801941F7
All the settings in Windows Live Mail are right, because all my other Live.mail accounts can sync very fast without any problem.
I tried these methods, but no luck:

I have exactly the same problem with you. Two of my hotmail accounts out of 7 got this error one after one since couple of months ago.
It seems like it started after some of my Windows 10 updates.
But I still can access those emails from web-based email pages without any problem.
I think Microsoft should be answering this problem.

même problème depuis la mise à jour vers windows 10,tout est bloqué
peut on revenir vers windows 7 sans problème malgré les mois écoulés depuis cette mise à jour
