My dash camera records video and I was unable to view with either Windows Media Player 11 (I guess, since I can't find the version number anywhere within the player...), or Windows Media Player Classic.  However, once I installed a few video codec packs, I can now view the video in Windows Media Player Classic, but not in Windows Media Player, and Movie Maker says that the file might be corrupted or in a format that Movie Maker doesn't recognize.

Is there any way or fix that anyone knows of so that Windows Media Player and Movie Maker can recognize and play the videos from my dash camera or so that they can use the video codecs that my dash camera uses so that they can recognize and play the videos so that I can edit them?  Thanks.
